Grand ChallengeAnother thing keeping me busy lately is working
with Team Underdawg on
the DARPA Grand
Challenge.
I've been working with an amazing team of
talented folks to conjure up an autonomous vehicle for DARPA's Grand Challenge.
Our most recent deadline was the onsite demonstration for the DARPA evaluation
team on May 5. The recent rains really cut into our development and test time,
especially the day before the site visit but we put something together just in
time for the demo. Not everything we had planned worked, but a lot of stuff
performed nicely.
